Friday Food for Thought: Be Intentional



"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14

In order to take a step forward, you have to put one foot in front of the other. To keep moving forward requires being intentional about repeating the same action in order to reach a specific destination. Being intentional means being strategic about your dreams, goals, plans, thoughts, habits and sacrifices. Nothing was ever accomplished by sitting back or standing still. You have to want to move. You have to want to achieve. You have to want to do better and be better. You have to want to "press" on purpose.


It requires determination. It requires calculating the cost.


You want to renew your mind? Be intentional.

You want to move to the next level? Be intentional.

You want to make healthy lifestyle changes? Be intentional.

You want to be a good steward? Be intentional.

You want to grow spiritually? Be intentional.
